Purpose of the Church
Purpose of the Church
This church exists to declare the glory of God in Christ. We declare God’s glory by focusing upon the Word of God, while being empowered by the Spirit of God. The edification of this local church body will take place through worship (Hebrews 13:15-16) and the word (II Tim. 2:15; 3:16-17) while being filled with the Spirit (Eph. 5:18; Acts 1:8) to accomplish our mission on this earth. We will be directed by the great commission (Matthew 28:19-20) to “go” and “make disciples” who glorify God, as they conform to the Word of God, being empowered by the Spirit of God, and in turn share the Gospel (I Cor. 15:3-5).
